Lucknow: The State government released Rs.7 crore compensation for the Muzaffarnagar riot victims and also financial aid is given for victims who lost their assets." The officials told.

They said that almost 1054 victims has been identified. They toured Baghpat, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar and estimated the damage. In addition to this they found that rioters  also destroyed vehicles along with properties.
